New induction Loop Amplifier ISV1090

Hearing loop amplifier with 90° phase shifter

The induction loop amplifier with model designation ISV1090 is a new development of the German manufacturer axxent, based in Gelnhausen, close to Frankfurt/Main. This amplifier type drives induction cable loops installed on the room floor or ceilings. The loops generate an induction field that can be picked up by so called t-coils of hearing aids. A majority of hearing aids have these reception coils built in.

The new axxent model allows switching the output current in four stages by setting internal jumpers. This flexibility eliminates the need of several types of amplifier models for each size of room.

The ISV1090 not only drives simple room perimeter cable loops, but it may be used for the installation of so-called low spill-over loops. These multi-segmented loops are required for critical applications such as conference rooms, multiplex cinemas, etc., where the induction sound signal should not stray outside the room and interfere with the induction signal in a neighboring room.
